The festival and our other events are all organised and run by the Trustees and Committee all of whom are volunteers.  We have no paid staff.  As as small charity we are reliant on our own efforts to generate funds and depend on grants, donations and sponsorship to help develop and improve our activities including the festival.

Why not become a Supporter of Tenterden Folk Festival

The supporters’ scheme enables individuals and also now businesses to become more involved with the festival and helps to raise much needed funds to ensure its future development.  The whole Festival weekend, and the Trust’s other activities, are run on very tight budgets and extra assistance and funds are always needed.  For an annual donation you will be kept informed with early press releases about the festival and our other activities and meet up during the festival weekend and at other times.  Supporters receive a special window sticker and will be listed in the festival programme unless you opt out.  If you are a tax payer also consider using gift aid.  See details on these forms.
